Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming performance of Verdi’s Requiem commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11. [The Metropolitan Opera]( Verdi’s Requiem: The Met Remembers 9/11 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, at 7:45PM ET Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming performance of Verdi’s Requiem commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Tickets are $25* for every seat in the house. Due to high demand and limited capacity, tickets are limited to two per order. You may purchase tickets by calling Met Customer Care at 212.362.6000, Monday through Friday, 10AM to 6PM ET, or logging into your metopera.org account. The box office at the Metropolitan Opera House will not be open at this time. Please note that all attendees must wear a face mask while inside the Met, and must provide proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or by the World Health Organization (WHO). Digital and physical forms of vaccine proof will be accepted, including: - CLEAR Health Pass app - Excelsior Pass (for New York residents) - CDC vaccination card or photo of your vaccination card Doors for this event will open at 6:15PM, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early in order to ensure their vaccination proof is verified and they are seated in advance of the 7:45PM curtain. If you are unable to join in person, the performance will be transmitted live with closed captioning as part of Great Performances on PBS, with ballet star Misty Copeland hosting live from the World Trade Center site. Live audio from the performance will also be broadcast directly outside the Met into Lincoln Center Plaza. We hope you can join us for this very special event.
