Let’s get started with the most recent version of Meteor below! Meteor 2.6 & 2.6.1 The Meteor 2.6 release has several important updates, one of which being the MongoDB upgrades, which you can read more about in our [blog post]( regarding the changes. It’s important to read the [Migration Guide]( step by step before upgrading. We've also highlighted some of the modifications below. Highlights: • MongoDB Node.js driver Upgrade from 3.6.10 to 4.3.1 • MongoDB Server 5.x Support • Embedded Mongo now uses MongoDB 5.0.5 • Dark theme-specific splash screens on iOS and Android As for version 2.6.1, this patch update has a few fixes which include regression, HMR, and meteor build.
