The coronavirus pandemic has altered the way we all live and work. It means fewer in-person meetings, less going out and postponed wedding celebrations. Simply put, people are staying home more, and our clothes are better suited to being out and about. To move forward, we are making major shifts. We are creating a leaner and more nimble structure to adapt to the realities of today’s retail environment. We are filing for Chapter 11 protection to help us reorganize and strengthen our business. This is not the end, but a new beginning. Importantly, this does not change our commitment to you. In July, we announced some store closures, however the majority of Men’s Wearhouse stores will continue to operate as usual, per COVID-19 safety regulations, of course. We will still have stores in every major metro area, in all 50 states, and we are continuing to enhance our online experiences. Nothing about our decision to seek Chapter 11 protection changes that. For our rental customers: Please be assured, your rental reservation will be ready for you as scheduled. - Nothing about our financial restructuring impacts our stores, distribution, cleaning & safety processes, or return protocol. We are operating as usual and look forward to equipping you with head-to-toe essentials that will help you look great for your big event. - For added peace of mind, if your nearest store is closing, we have developed contingency plans to give you the choice to either pick up from a different nearby store or have your rental shipped directly to you, for free. - In addition, you can place your rental order online, anytime, and have it shipped to you at no charge. - If you have any questions about the status or details of an existing rental reservation, we are here to help.
