A hundred bucks does make a difference. We'd offered [this Energizer Powersource and Solar Bundle]( before, but only new and priced at $599. This time, we decided to provide a second option: the same thing, except refurbished for a hundred bucks less. We thought, hey, a big power station isn't a status symbol; it's a utility product. As long as it keeps the lights on and your fridge running, you're golden. Besides, this community has never been afraid of refurbished products. And you sure weren't afraid of this one! It's only just about 1pm central here, and [we've already sold $40k worth of these things](. And that includes all of the refurbished units. So, if you wanted one of those, sorry. We did, however, add a third option: just the Powersource itself (new) with no panel for that same $499 price point. Real talk: this is partly a trick. What we want is for you to come to the site, drawn in by the $499 option, but then think *Eh, what's another hundred dollars in the long run?* and opt for the full bundle at $599. Although, is it a bad trick, if we admit it? Or is admitting it a second trick, one to disarm you with our transparency so you feel more comfortable spending your money with us? Best not to think too much about it, to be honest. Instead, think whether or not you want a generator (with or without a solar panel).
