Nice to have, not to need. With most products, saying, "I bought it but never used it," would be a negative comment. But there exist some things where this isn't the case. Like, for example, [today's bundle of survival gear](. And that's likely why it's selling so well: it's a matter of having versus using. A bluetooth speaker from Denmark, a whole bunch of spicy ramen bowls, a new set of cookware--with items like that, it all comes down to whether or not you'd use them (or, in the case of the ramen bowls, consume them). If the answer is yes, you buy. If not, you don't. If you're on the fence, that's probably a no too, because there's too much "risk." You don't want a big pile of speakers and noodles and pots and pans just sitting around, taking up space. But [an emergency tent, some ponchos, some paracord, a few whistles]( stuff where the goal is to have it, not use it. Or, it's about having it and *hoping* you never use it. If it sits around, taking up space in your trunk or your backpack for the duration of its life, that's great news. Nobody's ever said, "I didn't find myself in grave danger, therefore this stuff that would've helped me in the face of said grave danger was a huge waste of money!" Because that would be ridiculous. Also, because these bundles cost just $12 (a classic 'sure, why not' price), you'd never call it a *huge* waste of money. Which is all to say: if you want some emergency gear, [come get some emergency gear]( and [say hello in the forum]( These are moving pretty fast. - Dave (and the rest of [Meh]( [update your account]( or [unsubscribe]( [Meh]( · 4717 Plano Parkway · Suite 130 · Carrollton, TX 75010
