Please join MDA’s 2024 Annual Fund Drive today! [Please join MDA’s 2024 Annual Fund Drive today]( [Muscular Dystrophy Association]( MDA’s 2024 Annual Fund Drive Dear {NAME}, When I was little, my dad would always say, “It takes us all to make the world go round.” That was just one way he taught me that, even though I had a disability, I still had a place in this big, beautiful world. Ira Walker, MDA National Ambassador I could accomplish anything I wanted to. It would just take a little extra creativity and a healthy dose of determination! [Today. I’m honored to serve as MDA’s National Ambassador this year and I would like to invite YOU to join MDA’s 2024 Annual Fund Drive!]( I can tell you from firsthand experience, this amazing organization changes lives. For more than 30 years, MDA has given my family so much support and joy. As a child, my counselors at MDA Summer Camp reinforced what my dad had been telling me: My condition doesn’t define who I am. I can be just as successful, productive, and independent as someone without a disability. I took that inspiration, and I ran with it, {NAME}! I played in my high school’s marching band. I learned how to drive. I have a full-time job I love. ANYTHING is possible when we have family and friends — like YOU! — on our side! [That’s why I hope you’ll give generously to MDA’s Annual Fund Drive today. You can empower more people just like me to live life to the fullest.]( Which leads me to another reason I’m honored to work with MDA: I get this chance to say thank you. Your compassionate support helps so many people living with neuromuscular disease to overcome adversity and realize our dreams. So thank you, {NAME}, for doing your part to empower people like me.
