Yet these lists, however well intentioned, can feel like empty, short-term gestures. “White and non-Black people who claim to support this movement now face an important quandary,” [writes]( assistant food and drink editor Elisabeth Sherman. “For now, they are putting their energy toward finding ways to support Black people financially, but how long will that motivation last?” Businesses and people around the world are also still fighting COVID-19, and issues around holding events continue to mount. Among those events are the Triple Crown horse races, which have been postponed and will be held without an audience later this year. That doesn’t mean you can’t imbibe like you’re at the tracks this summer, though.
