Cask-aged for over 4 years! Dear {NAME}, We at MoM towers can distinctly remember a time - probably not even a decade ago - when asking for a Negroni in all but the most classical of cocktail bars would’ve met with a blank stare (probably followed by the offer of a Mojito or Espresso Martini if you were lucky*). We didn’t like this time. In fact we disliked it so much that we were the first to bring a [pre-mixed Negroni]( to market back in 2015.   As we begin 2024 though, we’re probably not going out on too much of a limb to say that Negronis are mainstream. At time of writing [we stock 21 pre-bottled variants]( and any bartender who looks blankly at you now can be legitimately asked to get in the sea, given that they are on the menu at Pizza Express.   One thing which hasn’t quite made it into the mainstream (yet) is the careful and deliberate curation of the gin used in said Negroni. Our firm belief is that a bit of oak influence** is a truly essential part of the finished drink. So firm were we in this belief in fact that we laid down a frankly hilarious quantity of gin into fresh bourbon casks back in 2017 after having it distilled to our preferred recipe.   We really can’t overstate just how much impact that additional oaken heft lends to the drink - and would implore you to try it at least once if you like Negronis as much as we do. £34.95 £24.95 [Buy now]( *Or something with a childish sexual reference as a name if you were unlucky. **We’re a whisky shop. C’mon.     The news in brief   Best gin to buy at any price Gin is a spirit as diverse as it is unique, tracing its roots back to the Dutch jenevers of the 17th century. Since that time, numerous styles and types of gin have emerged, from cask-aged expressions to London dry.
