Want to win some whisky? 🥃 Win a bottle of Scotch in our Burns Night poetry competition! Dear {NAME},  Are you a poet? Do you know it? If so, you'll be thrilled to know our annual [Burns Night poetry competition]( is back!  This year we're changing it up with five categories: funniest poem, poem Burns would love, best overall poem, a Burns-inspired song, and best heartbreaker, and we'll pick three winning poems from each category. The same rules as always apply – no rhyming 'whisky' with 'frisky', and no epics (a maximum of 25 lines please, we want to be able to actually finish the poem). Otherwise, let your creative juices flow!  You can find all the [details and T&Cs here,]( but the long and short of it is that our Instagram followers will vote to crown the winners, who could be getting their hands on a bottle of Benriach 27 Year Old 1991, a Johnnie Walker Blue Label Gift Set, Seaweed & Aeons & Digging & Fire 18 Year Old, Darkness 8 Year Old, or even a custom-filled bottle of Deanston signed by master distiller Brendan McCarron. Now that's upped the stakes, hasn't it! Time to get your finest pen to paper, we reckon.     The news in brief   [Five great zero alcohol drinks for Dry January]( There is now a delicious range of bottles that contain no alcohol whatsoever but have plenty of flavour so you can still enjoy a cocktail!   [The rise of peated whisky casks]( People love a good chat about casks in the whisky world and we noticed there’s more peated whisky casks about at the moment.   Stay tuned with our social channels!
