[What's a wormtub]( Nothing to do with the wiggly little creatures in the ground, in whisky-making a wormtub is a big ol' piece of industrial kit – a condenser! It's basically a long copper coil tube not unlike a worm in a large tub of cold water (which is where the name comes from) which creates a distinctively, heavy, robust style of new make.  Not many distilleries still use wormtub condensers, but the newly-launched [Wormtub 10 Year Old]( is from one of the few that does! It's a tad mysterious, but we do know that the single malt comes from a Speyside distillery, is finished in sherry casks, and bottled at cask strength without any colouring.
