[image]() [image] This Week in the Market After moving higher the previous few weeks, the market tried to keep its momentum but fell flat toward the end of this week. Despite the pullback Thursday and Friday, a non-bearish outlook might still be in the cards. Even with some arguably bearish employment data, stocks were pretty resilient. If implied volatility levels are any indication, the market may hold up. Many IV levels on the SPY (S&P 500 ETF) remain in the single digits. Selling premium continues to be tough sledding. It is a pretty heavy week as far as economic reports go with a couple of inflation numbers slated for release this week. There are several Federal Reserve speakers on the schedule too, with three expected to talk on Monday alone. Quarterly earnings are slow right now, but the next round is expected in only a couple of weeks. Have a safe, healthy and prosperous week! Calendar spreads will be considered this week. NFLX – After a successful bear call spread this past week, the same strong setup is in place for this week too. Additional bear call spreads will be modeled out. COST – After a huge drop late this past week, the stock may be ready to rally again.
