[image]() [image] This Week in the Market The market made some additional strides higher this past week as the Federal Reserve kept rates the same but said several more hikes this year were not out of the question. Stocks seemed a little winded on Friday as profit taking ruled the day. Looking ahead to this week, it is hard to think bullish with the market extended to the upside, but how can you think bearish after the past several weeks? That said, the market is due for a little pullback at some point. A non-bearish outlook makes sense as implied volatility levels continue to decrease with the rise in stocks. It will be a short week for traders and investors as the market is closed on Monday in honor of Juneteenth. As far as economic reports go, the week will be rather slow with the brunt of them released on Thursday. Federal Reserve Chair Powell will testify in front of the House and Senate panels this week with a few other Fed talks scattered throughout the week. There is a simple solution that cannot guarantee your success but can definitely help: Find a friend. That’s What Friends Are For These song lyrics ring true, and I don’t believe [Continue Reading ...](=) MTM Watchlist Here are a few trade ideas we will most likely look at in group coaching class this week: GOOGL – Even though the stock has moved a little higher, it has not broken a neutral cycle. Additional bear call spreads and short iron condors will be explored at just above and below pivot levels. TSLA – The stock remains a bullish powerhouse, and bull call and bull put spreads have been money makers for us in the past. We’ll consider more this coming week. INTC – The stock is really extended to the upside and so far shows no signs of slowing down. Potential long straddles will be examined with lots of room to move higher or lower.
