Shutterstock has launched an[unlimited music subscription plan]( for content creators and digital marketers, offering more than 11,000 tracks that can be included in web-based content, including YouTube videos, podcasts and conference presentations. The subscription fee is $149 per month, and includes access to the Shutterstock Music library with music tracks searchable by genre, mood or popularity. The company says its music selection has been curated by professional musicians, with hundreds of tracks added every month. Snapchat is taking a page from YouTube’s TrueView ad format with[the launch of Extended Play Commercials](. The new, mid-roll video ads maintain the 6-second non-skippable format – but offers advertisers the ability to extend the runtime beyond the 6-second mark for up to three minutes. Similar to YouTube TrueView ads, Snapchat users will have the option to either skip the ad after six seconds or continue to watch the full video commercial. The key difference is that Snapchat’s Extended Play Commercials will appear mid-roll, rather than pre-roll like YouTube ads. Extended Play Commercials are now available in closed beta, with whitelisted advertisers able to access them in Ads Manager.
