Never run out of ideas, ! Where Do Great Content Ideas Come From? Dear Creative Professional, Â â?

Never run out of ideas, ! [Never run out of ideas, !] [View Online Version]( [Quick Tips]( Where Do Great Content Ideas Come From? Dear Creative Professional,  “I have no good ideas. Besides, why would anyone want to hear from me?”  If you aren't doing content marketing because you don’t know what to say or you don’t feel like an authority, you’re not alone. In fact, the above is a direct quote from a client. But here’s the thing:  You don’t need to be an expert to create content that will keep you front-of-mind to potential clients.  There’s a better way to go about it that removes the expectation that you should “know everything.” Yes, you can, of course, share what you know. But what’s easier (and more useful) is sharing what you want to learn more about as it relates to your prospects and clients and their needs. In our recent Office Hours, I defined what content marketing is and broke down how to use curiosity, rather than expertise, to come up with great ideas.  [January Office Hours Clip - Where Content Ideas Come From]( [Click here to watch](.  On the other hand, it could be that you have loads of ideas, but you still can’t get your content marketing done. In that case, you might need a commitment device. You may already have a few built in to certain parts of your life - like the fitness watch that reminds you to get up and move. The electric toothbrush that tells you how long to brush. Or it could even be a person, like an accountability partner - or a big group of like-minded creatives (like the ones who show up for my monthly Office Hours). That’s exactly why the [Simplest Marketing Plan]( includes monthly live Office Hours sessions: it’s where you can “show up” month after month, for yourself and your business, alongside me and fellow creatives. That’s one of the only ways to sustain the “fresh start” feeling of January into the rest of the year.  Come join us on the first Friday of the month, every month.  You’ll get an invite when you [buy The Simplest Marketing Plan here](.
