Hate being ghosted by prospects? Try this. [Hate being ghosted by prospects? Try this.] [Mary's Magic Message]( Dear Creative Professional, You know how bad it feels when you spend days on a proposal, send it to your prospect, cross your fingers and then....you never hear from them again. Where is their common courtesy? Often, they don't even acknowlege receipt, much less tell you why you didn't win it. (Sometimes no one did!). Well, I have been teaching a new strategy to avoid this. It takes some guts but it works and it's pretty simple. I call it Cookie #2 of the [Proposal Oreo Strategy](. And it's not a secret. Here it is: Instead of sending your proposal via email, you present a "draft" in real time. I can hear you groaning already..... "They don't have time." "There's no way they'll agree to that." Not true, if you ask to Mary and Kevin and Gigi and Karen and many other Marketing Mentor clients who are using this strategy and winning more projects! You see, if you have the right attitude (as usual, mindset is everything), set it up properly and use [Mary's "Magic" Message](, (also above) you'll win them too. And here's why: 1. Presenting a "draft" of the proposal begins the collaborative process from the get-go. 2. Because it's a collaboration, your prospect is much more psychologically and emotionally invested in your proposal. 3. That's the only way they will not only absorb what you're proposing, but also see how complex the work they're asking for really is. Web designer, [Mary Maru](, has all of that in place. And she is back with me in this short video to share with you exactly show she does it. [Watch the video and read the transcript on the blog](. And if you missed Mary on Cookie #1 (i.e. what to say when a prospect says, "Just send me a proposal"), you can watch [that short clip]( in which Mary explains how she uses my Oreo strategy to slow things down, so she can make sure her prospect is worth her time. (You should too!) If you like this, you'll love my new course, "Writing a Winning Proposal: Land Your Dream Clients" for Domestika. Watch the trailer here: [( And it's still on sale for 75% off at US$14.99 (regular price is $59.99). Buy it here: [( Here are a few of the 27 100% positive reviews (including one of my favorites in Portuguese -- you don't need to speak Portuguese to get the message): "Considering how the gems of advice provided by Ilise, delivered with stunning clarity and simplicity, can pave the way to many successful deal closures, it is a no-brainer to get this course." "What a gem course. Straight to the point, no embellishments, full of tips, and a wealth of information. Highly recommended. Thank you Ilise." "Um curso magnífico para organizar ideias, tirar projetos do papel e criar um planejamento factível com a sua carreira e objetivos. Recomendadíssimo!" That's probably enough for today -- I don't want to overwhelm you. My goal is to give you what you need, when you need it -- no more and no less! With gratitude, Ilise Benun (917) 750-0498 [Marketing-Mentor.com]( P.S. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
