You need to keep an eye on these… To view this email as a web page, go [here.]( Hey There! If you weren’t watching, the Market on Wednesday the Electric Vehicle (EV) stocks saw a lot of bullish volume pour into them. TSLA, NIO, NKLA were all way up. These stocks saw incredible growth from spring of 2020 until the market turned at the beginning of the year. I think a lot of traders who bought in late to try and jump on the “market fad” have been washed out over the past few months. If you look at the institutional ownership numbers, most of the big investors held strong and even added to their positions. They don’t believe that the EV market is dying down, just that the hype has worn off. A lot of traders are looking at the smaller EV companies and trying to guess the next TSLA. But sometimes it’s easier to look in the same “boring” places. Ford (F) had its earnings a couple weeks ago, and showed that their sales had slowed down. But… Today Ford announced that they will be investing $3.7B into expanding the production of their EV/Gas Powered vehicles. That news gave a boost to the whole sector! This announcement was made following the news that although their sales in May were down 4.9% from a year ago, they believe that the avg EV companies sales are down about 30%. Not only does that show their health in that space, but it means that they gained market share. You may not see some of the wild swings that other EV stocks will experience if the trend continues, but if slow and steady wins the race, this could be a nice option to keep an eye on!
