Peloton got a first-hand taste To view this email as a web page, go [here.]( Hey There! Last night, we got a practical lesson on the dangers of trading during earnings season. But at the same time, we’ll also see how quickly potential trades can set up during these times of the year. And it all has to do with a popular stock! Intrigued yet? (By the way, I’d bet we’ll talk about this stock at class today…) My First Line of Defense on the Charts The very first thing I check every time I’m ready to place a trade? The candles. They tell me when to enter, and just as importantly, when not to enter. After 20 years, I still use them every day, and I’m still learning more of their powerful techniques. I’d love for you to join me at 1:00 PM ET for a FREE class where we’ll cover all the details. [Reserve your seat by clicking here]( Last night, Peloton (PTON) reported earnings after hours. And the report was really bad. They announced weakening sales growth, a wider-than-expected loss in their first fiscal quarter, and they slashed their full-year expectations. And as a result, their stock got crushed! As you can see, a huge gap formed on the chart as the stock dropped 25% per share in after-market trading! That’s an extraordinary loss, especially on a stock that has been as high as $170 this year! If you paid attention last week, though, you know that gaps down like these can be a major signal for a potential trade. It’s the yin and yang of trading during earnings: On the one hand, if you had shared of PTON, you’re feeling sick to your stomach right now. On the other hand, if you didn’t get hit, there’s a potential trade here! But how would you know when to enter? Well, for that, I’d recommend using candles. And isn’t that convenient? I have a class on that in just a few hours! Hope you can make it out.
