Hey there! Markay here. Have you ever done that thing where you go to Google to get the answer to a simple question… And three hours later, you find yourself neck-deep in a research rabbit hole? I bet it happens to you all the time. Happens to me, too. Just the other day, I was looking for something… I don’t even remember what it was! It had to be something about the 80s, though, because I wound up reading a New York Times article from January of 1983. It was called, “THE 10 SUPER STOCKS OF 1982”. 1982! We’re talking about a world that hadn’t seen the Berlin Wall come down… Or the tragedy of the Challenger space shuttle… Or the invention of the Macintosh personal computer from a little company with a funny fruit-based name. It feels like it wasn’t THAT long ago for those of use who were alive then… But if you ask my kids, it was at least a billion years ago. Want to know what stocks were popular then? If you’re curious, I don’t blame you - I was eager to find out, too! Here they are: Chrysler Fay’s Drug Coleco Winnebago Telex Mountain Medical Pulte Homes Home Depot CACI And finally... Digital Switch While some of these are still around, at least half these companies are defunct - and some I have never even heard of. I find this fascinating, but it also makes me wonder.... What companies are alive and well today that we’ll still be investing in 40 years down the line… And which others are doomed to go the way of Fay’s Drug in the future? Obviously, it’s really hard to say… And that’s why you have to keep your ears and eyes open to trends every single day. Now, if you know me at all, you know I love to trade my favorite tech stocks... But in the very recent past, even those are being left in the dust. Sectors like gaming, medical MJ, crypto currencies, and electric vehicles are hotter than hot right now - and they’re making the tech crew look like a bunch of old fuddy-duddies. Some of that is the Reddit effect. After the GME debacle a few days ago, the group that created that bubble is still going strong… So they’re making some waves in unexpected areas. But for the most part, these are the natural ebbs and flows of the market’s interest. With that in mind, it’s time to pay attention to these new companies, new products, and new sectors… And that means doing your research even when you’d rather roll over in bed, ignore the whole thing, and stick with the old standbys.  As for me, I’m looking forward to the future… While keeping one foot firmly planted in the present. So I’m keeping my focus on these new and promising sectors… While still making solid trades with the old standbys. You may be wondering - how does anyone find the time to do this? Surely, you’d have to be glued to your trading apps 24-7 to make sure you’re making the right choices about the old and the new? Here’s the thing - With our team’s methods, you DON’T have to worry about any of that. In fact, yesterday, Rob showed off his system for finding the best trades with the biggest potential and moderate risk. But it’s not a system you have to slave over. He granted temporary access to this system so you can see the picks for yourself. [Watch this replay to learn more about it]( Don’t worry - Rob’ll still tell you when I think something is a solid bet - even if it’s a company that was around in the ancient past of 1982. Chat soon!
