... Mari has the scoop Greetings {NAME}! It's that time of year when articles flood the internet with PREDICTIONS and TRENDS for the coming year! 🤪🔮 Tbh, the roundups with multiple experts contributing can be somewhat insightful. Some entries are often well thought through and well informed. Others... well, it's just a guessing game, right? I have numerous invitations sitting in my inbox asking for quotes, tips and article contributions around what's going to happen in the world of social media in 2024! I'll keep you posted on my own thoughts. Meanwhile, I wanted to share this exceptional [article](=) by social media industry analyst, blogger and author, Andrew Hutchinson, at Social Media Today. [34 Predictions for Social Media Marketing in 2024](=) What are the big changes coming for digital marketers over the next year? Check out Andrew's platform-by-platform [breakdown](=) of what’s in the works. Of course, I especially appreciated how he started out with Facebook! Yes, the platform is still #1 by number of users. - More AI, more video - Meta's AI-powered discovery engine will continue to make its constant recommendations and suggested content. This helps increase time on site by showing users content from 'unconnected' accounts a.k.a. people they don't know, don't follow. - Celebrity AI chatbots won't work. Yes, agreed. 'Nuff said. Haha! - Avatars everywhere! In case you hadn't noticed, Meta keeps pushing the use of avatars across all its platforms. This is Zuckerberg getting us more and more 'used' to seeing ourselves in avatar form... in prep for when we all move full-time into the metaverse, right?! Ha. - Messaging tools for business. Now this one we for sure want to pay attention to... Click-to-message ads perform really well. And WhatsApp is coming soon. Along with more tools to help businesses connect with customers via the DMs! Plus, the evolution of Threads... and a lot more. Take a read of the full article [here](. Reels, Ads, Groups: 3-part Workshop Earlier today, I finished leading class #6 of 6 of FBOMM5 - Facebook Organic Marketing Masterclass - Facebook Marketing Reimagined. What's next?! Well, I'm putting together a short but powerful 3-part workshop coming up very soon (at a great Black Friday price!). Spanning once a week for 3 weeks, we'll cover a deep dive into: - REELS Creation Workshop - Facebook ADS Fundamentals Workshop - Facebook GROUP Growth Workshop If one or more of these appeals to you, feel free to let me know!
