Mari has the scoop for you... Greetings {NAME}, "Scams on Facebook are reaching epidemic proportions." YIKES!!!! That was the headline I just read on a news media site. 😩 Oh no, it can be so disheartening, right? It's like the more sophisticated the features and AI get on these platforms like Facebook, the smarter and more sophisticated the bad actors get. We have to be absolutely vigilant and ruthless with protecting our account security. Do NOT succumb to the wily ways of these scammers! Do not let it spoil all the positives that we can still derive from using Facebook. Refrain from clicking any suspicious links in your DM boxes, on your wall, in shared posts, etc. Let your friends and clients know, too. Here's an important reminder of an article I published not long back: [12 Steps To Secure Your Facebook Account]( Now that Facebook got rid of its own code generator, it's even more important to have a proper authenticator app like Google Authenticator or DuoMobile set up. The details are in my blog post. You can also learn more on [this post](), and [this post]() on my Facebook Page. Threads App now has audio & editing [Zuckerberg on Threads app](=) Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced on his Threads account today, "Rolling out Edit and Voice Threads today. Enjoy!" Well, to be frank, I just have not bothered to give much time to the Threads app for awhile. Sure, like millions of people did, I jumped in as soon as the app came out. Well, that was easy. Just a tap through from Instagram. After all, Threads is "an Instagram app." BUT, thanks to my longtime friend and colleague Pam Brossman for alerting me on Facebook - I popped over to Threads and [gave the audio feature a test]( today. 🔊 It's actually rather nifty!! Almost like sending a friend a voice text. Except, you get an instant text transcript that goes with your post as well. I got just a bit inspired... like how much easier it will be to share some musings, insights, updates that are more extemporaneous. Hmm. No doubt, language translation is coming, too.
