Mari has the scoop for you... Greetings {NAME}! I'm still settling in and getting used to the big change from San Diego, California to Ashland, Oregon. It's been 2.5 months now and I'm still loving the area, albeit there are some environmental challenges to acclimate to! Lately, we've had crazy triple digit heat (104F / 40C). And today, hellish smoke coming up from a whole bunch of Northern Californian fires. Yikes. Air quality went from 108 to 157 in <1 hour. I sure hope it doesn't increase anymore. I pray for the health and safety of all those affected by fires lately. [Little Hyatt Lake & hiking trail]() Last weekend, I celebrated a most [wonderful birthday]( with the perfect blend of activities. To escape the heat, Christopher and I gained some extra elevation to 5k' - this lovely location is just 20 minutes up the mountain from our house. Little Hyatt Lake and Green Springs Loop Trail. So peaceful and mostly all shady, and a good 10-15F cooler! We also thoroughly enjoyed Barbie the Movie. I'd been wanting to see it since it came out. Christopher wasn't so sure. But he ended up really loving it. It's so well done. And utterly farcical and satirical in many places, you just have to have a good laugh! Have you seen it? What did you think? AI Tools - what's popular? I recently posted an invite on my Facebook Page for folks to share what AI tools they're using regularly now. And which specific tasks or projects these tools are helping to accomplish. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide array of responses. [Check it out here]() and add your own, if you wish. Here's a simple list view from the comments. Feel free to reply to this email if you have questions. (Not that I'm an expert with all of these, lol! But I can direct you to resources). - Adobe Express with AI Firefly - AIPRM browser extension that works with ChatGPT - Bard (Google) - Bing image creator (Microsoft) - Boost.ai chat and voice bots - Canva - Capsho repurpose content - ChatGPT-4 (of course) - Claude-2.0 AI assistant - Content at Scale - Copy.ai - Descript - video/audio editor - Fotor AI - image generator - Headshot Pro - Leonardo Ai - image generator - Magai - do more with ChatGPT - MidJourney - image generator - Murf.ai - voice generator - Opus Clip - video repurposing - Speechify - text to speech app - Synthesia - video generator Could using GPT-4 for content moderation And, speaking of AI, ChatGPT may soon take on a new role as online content moderator for forums and social networking sites like Facebook. I posted about this on my Facebook Page the other day. At first, I thought surely this will be more effective than human moderation. When it comes to having humans review the most egregious content, it can have a very detrimental affect on mental health. So, I'm all for delegating that process to AI. However, there are many possible ways this could unfold. Between outright censorship, fact-checking, political bias and AI hallucinations a lot of folks are saying the potential of using AI/ChatGPT for content moderation could be downright disastrous. Hm. What do you think? [Read more and join the conversation here](. Want to meet me in Florida?
