On their dreams of things being different in 2024. Studies show that by the second Friday in January, most folks have already ditched their New Year’s goals. (The phenomenon even has a name: Quitters Day.) People have fallen off the wagon. Ghosted the gym. Drifted back into old habits and patterns… Lack of focus. Procrastination. Eating/watching/thinking crap. _________ [fill in the blank with your pattern of choice] We’ve all been there. It feels horrible. But please understand, it’s not your fault. You're not bad, weak, or hopeless. You’re probably just missing the one ingredient that practically guarantees victory, all year long. But because it’s so simple, most overlook it. Let me explain… The last half of 2023 was straight-up brutal. One of the hardest, most painful stretches of my life. By December, I felt like I’d gone eight rounds with Tyson. My body was limp and bloody. My eyes were swollen, and I was up against the metaphorical ropes. Emotionally and mentally, I was exhausted. (Aging parents, a massive health crisis, and a BEYOND broken medical system can do that to a person.) But somewhere around December 28th, something snapped. In a GOOD way! A shift happened from within. A fire rose in my belly. 🔥🔥🔥 NO MORE allowing external circumstances to drain my life force. NO MORE allowing my own health to suffer while caring for others. NO MORE trying to control a situation that’s beyond control. My best friend and I made a pact. This year, we’re supporting each other more than ever to stay on track. We committed to more in-person adventures. More quality time and attention on the rituals, events, and resources that TRULY move the needle for us. Last week, we had a dream session sleepover in NYC. Here we are cementing our visions and goals for the year ahead. (YES, colored gel pens 🌈 and journals 📝 and endless snacks and tea were involved!) [My best friend and I made a pact.]( That secret ingredient that virtually guarantees victory? A dream buddy. Also known as an accountability partner. Some research estimates we’re 95% more likely to reach our goals if we have that extra support! 🥳 None of us can live our best, most beautiful life alone. It’s not how we’re built. One thing's for sure… I’m going to be here for you, {NAME} — all year long. Every week, I’ll be up in your inbox 😜 with something to inspire you, encourage you, educate you… and help you STAY on track with your dreams, too. If growing your business is at the top of your 2024 list, I’ve got a three-day workshop coming up called Dream Business Bootcamp. It’s totally free → [Get registered here.]( After 22+ years in business, I’ve made a lot of mistakes. But I’ve also collected priceless lessons and strategies that create enormous success. During Bootcamp, you get my best tools and insights, free. Because this year, I want all of us to rise together. 🙌💖 If business isn’t your bag of chips, no worries. But if you’ve got friends looking to grow their audience and income, please forward this email. One last thing… If you’ve fallen off the wagon the past few days or weeks, GET BACK ON IT! It’s 100% okay. We all slip off. Reaching our biggest goals does not require perfection. Just resilience. The secret is to keep getting BACK up. Again, and again, and again. 🙂 I believe in you, {NAME}. 💖 Your dream buddy, xx Marie If you wish to stop receiving our emails or change your subscription, you can [update your preferences]( or [unsubscribe here]( or you can email your request to info@marieforleo.com.
