I get it, {NAME}. On today’s episode of MarieTV, I shared my story of the big, bold dream I had when I was a little girl. In case you missed it, that dream was a life full of FREEDOM — financial freedom, location freedom and, most of all, creative freedom. When I started out, I was passionate about a multitude of seemingly unconnected things: writing, hip-hop, psychology, entrepreneurship, creativity, spirituality, fitness, and philanthropy. After several failed attempts at corporate jobs and a lot of angst trying to choose just one thing to be in life, I realized that my unusual combination of interests and skills was a strength, not a liability. So I gave up the security of the 9–5 and worked a multitude of jobs while building a coaching business from the ground up. Today, my “resume” includes the New York Stock Exchange, Condé Nast publishing, choreographing hip-hop on MTV, being one of the world’s first Nike Elite Dance Athletes, author of two internationally best-selling books, and founder of a digital education company named in the Inc. 500. I coined the term "multipassionate entrepreneur" because I didn’t (and never will) fit into a conventional box. I believe in my bones that the key to thriving in today’s world — and living a life you love — is to bring your whole self to the table. That includes your unique set of gifts, your personality, and most importantly, your heart.
