[Support Marc →]( Hi {NAME}, ICYMI: Late last night, the House passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 and sent it to the President's desk. I was proud to vote YES on the historic bipartisan package that will: - Rebuild existing infrastructure 🌉 - Create good-paying jobs 📐 - Support U.S. manufacturing 🏭 - Fight the climate crisis 🌎 - Invest in the American people 🏘️ This once-in-a-generation bipartisan effort will create millions of jobs while transforming our transportation system, and making it easier for companies to get their goods to market and compete in a 21st century economy. The state of Texas will receive: - $3 billion to make public transportation improvements - $26.9 billion for federal-aid highway apportioned programs - $100 million to expand broadband In addition to passing the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021, the House voted on a rule allowing us to pass the President's Build Back Better Act when we return the week of November 15th. In the upcoming weeks, I look forward to working with my colleagues to get the Build Back Better Act over the finish line — and vote yes on lowering healthcare costs, yes on giving tax cuts to all middle-class families, and yes on lowering bills for child care and elder care.
