I grew up here, and Jennifer and I raised our kids here. After nearly three decades as a public high school science teacher and union president, I was tired of seeing our kids and our communities left behind. So I ran for the State Senate and built a movement to flip my seat blue for the first time in 30 years. I’m proud to say that we’ve proven that when we work together, we can deliver real results to protect a woman’s right to choose, make sure that every classroom has the funding our kids and teachers need to succeed, and fight to ensure that every worker gets a fair deal and every family has clean water to drink and air to breathe. I’m running for Congress because we deserve a leader in the House of Representatives who will wake up every day ready to put in the work for families here in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley. But MAGA extremist Brandon Williams is only working for his Texas billionaire and right-wing extremist donors. He’s voted to allow politicians to ban all abortions, cut pay for thousands of our teachers and healthcare for thousands of our veterans, and undermined essential programs that families here rely on. It’s time for him to go. {NAME}, it’s been one year since we launched this campaign, and now NY-22 is the #1 House pickup opportunity in the country for Democrats.
