Look: defeating us in Massachusetts would virtually guarantee a GOP-controlled Senate. And national Republicans are desperate to take power so they can enact their radical agenda, from banning abortion nationwide to slashing taxes for billionaires and giant corporations. So in the long run, to make our country work not just for a thin slice at the tippy-top but for everyone, we’ve got to overturn Citizens United and enact sweeping anti-corruption legislation (yes, I’ve got a plan for that). But for now, we’ve got to shore up our defenses against Super PAC spending and anything else the far right throws at us. Together, we’ll keep working to stop big money from drowning out the voices of working families.
