Here’s what you need to know… [Can't see this image? And with vasodilation, you increase blood flow to the heart, the other organs, not just the penis. [Can't see this image? Click on 'load images' or 'always allow images for this sender'] Because vasodilation is a natural method for opening up the blood vessels, restoring their flexibility, and improving blood flow. Not only can it naturally increase blood flow to the penis...it can even lower blood pressure and keep the heart healthy... [Here’s how to use vasodilation at home to improve blood flow all over the body (and give “rockiness” a boost).]( ---------- Why aren’t doctors telling men this? (Brain damage from this) “Why am I getting no action in my penis, Matt?” These are typical notes I get every day from men who had surgery -- it can be a tooth extraction, a knee replacement, or stents put in. And nothing is going on downstairs -- no rockiness. And doctors don’t warn men of this “side effect” from surgery. It doesn’t have to be major surgery either. MOST men who get surgery, even dental work, will suffer “rockiness” problems at least for a few days, a few weeks, a few months, depending on the severity of the surgery. Surgery, even getting a tooth pulled, increases many stress chemicals in the bloodstream and the brain. If there are enough of these stress chemicals, the male body shuts down “reproduction” -- which accounts for the rockiness problems... And there’s more bad effects from surgery and the stress chemicals… It turns out that surgery can have a really big impact on your cognitive health. This isn’t super-surprising, because your heart and your brain are tied together so closely. But the results can take a lot of people off guard. [Can't see this image? Click on 'load images' or 'always allow images for this sender'] Today we’ll look at what REALLY happens to your cognitive ability AFTER surgery in this case heart surgery. The big reason I’m writing this article is because heart surgeons will often tell you the BIG side effects and risks… But they don’t always tell you what real life will be like directly after the surgery. And you need to know that so you can prepare. Heart surgery can cause temporary cognitive loss. Heart surgery isn’t a super-common surgery, but there is a fair amount of it performed every year in the US. When it comes to heart valve surgeries alone, around 150,000 of them are performed annually by surgeons in the US. But even though it’s a pretty routine procedure, it turns out that heart valve surgery can have serious impacts on your cognitive ability. In this research review, researchers looked at 12 studies that give measurements on people’s cognitive abilities after heart valve surgery. And they found that, indeed, cognitive ability declines after heart surgery. “The researchers found that within the first month after valve surgery, people in the studies experienced some cognitive decline compared to before the surgery.” This problem with cognitive ability can last for up to six months after surgery. “The researchers concluded that heart valve surgery patients are at risk of cognitive problems up to six months after surgery.” So, it’s important to understand this going in... Because, for most people, six months is a long time to wait after surgery to feel like themselves again. I’m not saying to skip necessary heart surgery. I’m not a doctor so I can’t give you that kind of medical advice. Sometimes heart surgery IS important. But it’s important to understand that you’re likely going to have a period of time after heart surgery where you’re not going to quite be yourself. For most people, this cognitive decline rebounds over time and they get back to normal. It usually takes about six months to get your full cognitive function back. “Up to six months after surgery, patients’ cognitive health had largely returned to normal.” Interestingly, aortic valve patients had more initial cognitive decline than mitral valve surgery patients. “The researchers also learned that aortic valve surgery was associated with more early cognitive problems than mitral valve surgery.” So if you are getting an aortic valve replaced you should be especially aware of the risk of cognitive decline. But, even so, both groups recovered well. Which is good news. Your brain DOES normally come back. If you’re considering heart surgery, then it’s a good idea to make sure that you make appropriate accommodations – such extra time to complete tasks – and give yourself appropriate time to recover. You’re not likely to be your full self immediately after heart surgery. And that’s okay. If you do experience cognitive loss after a heart surgery, such as having trouble with vision, memory, speech, thinking clearly, or other similar problems, be sure to let your doctor know. Sometimes they can set you up with rehabilitative therapy that can make your recovery quicker. And sometimes they give you tests to establish a baseline in order to help develop a recovery plan. To your health! ----Important Message---- Now available again for the first time since 1933 -- the best natural fat burner EVER discovered for men [Can't see this image? Click on 'load images' or 'always allow images for this sender'] It was too good to be true… In the 1930s, scientists discovered a powerful natural fat burner that blasts away fat without diet or exercise. They called it Thermo 3. Men everywhere started using it to replace fat with lean muscle, improve their energy levels, and get the best “rockiness” of their life. But then the powers that be decided it was too easy and too effective… Thermo 3 was making gyms, diet programs, and health clubs obsolete. So they banned this natural fat burner and kept it secret from us for more than 100 years. But now I’ve got something that’s even better -- [a simple activity that mimics the benefits of Thermo 3, allowing you to “breathe the fat out”...]( ---------- Daily Medical Discoveries is dedicated to uncovering secret, buried or censored studies that can help men live great lives to 120 and beyond.
