And here’s a completely natural way to get your body producing healthy collagen… ----Important Message---- NEW Super C gets the body producing more collagen for more lean muscle mass Collagen is the brick and mortar that our bodies are built with. It holds our cells together, and it provides the structure for fibrous tissue like ligaments and tendons. And when you increase collagen production, you end up with better joints, better bones, and better, more youthful skin… But most importantly, more collagen results in leaner, stronger muscles and less overall body fat. So how do you get more collagen? Well vitamin C helps… [Can't see this image? [Here’s how to use Super C to naturally produce more collagen and enjoy leaner, stronger muscles.]( ---------- Want more muscle mass? Collagen may be the answer Collagen is the most common protein in the human body. Skin, bones, muscles, and tendons are particularly high in collagen. Traditionally, humans would have eaten a lot of collagen. But over the last 100 years people tend to eat mostly muscle meat, and that is low in collagen. Collagen is well known for its anti-inflammatory effects. And recently, scientists discovered that supplemental collagen can increase lean mass and decrease body fat. The experiment studied the effect of just 1/2 oz of collagen alongside resistance training. [Can't see this image? The journal Nutrients published the results. The experiment used a supplement called collagen hydrolysate. This is now widely available, often sold alongside protein powders and workout blends. The study recruited 57 men who took part in a 12 week training experiment. The researchers randomly split the participants into two groups… Only one group received the supplement of 15 gm of collagen daily. The men carried out standard resistance training three times a week for 12 weeks. The researchers compared muscle characteristics, body composition, and strength between the two groups at the end of the trial. “We determined the effects of long-term collagen peptide supplementation and resistance exercise training on body composition, strength, and muscle fiber cross-sectional area in recreationally active men.” The two groups were similar in all critical parameters before the experiment began. Their training and diet was similar throughout the study. “Baseline parameters showed no differences between groups, and the external training load and dietary food intake were also similar.” When taking the collagen supplement, men gained significantly more lean body mass over the 12 weeks. “Collagen showed a significant increase in fat-free mass compared with the placebo group.” The researchers looked for differences in muscle size between the two groups over the study period. Both groups gained muscle, but there were no significant differences between the groups. “The cross-sectional area of muscle fibers increased significantly in both groups without differences between the two groups.” The results point toward collagen increasing connective tissue and bone mass. “As the observed increase in fat-free mass was not reflected in differences in muscle hypertrophy between groups, we assume enhanced passive connective tissue adaptations in the collagen group from collagen intake.” Previous studies have clearly shown the beneficial effect of collagen on bone mass. Collagen strengthens the structural proteins within the body. The supplement also prevented fat gain. Men who were not taking collagen gained fat over the 12 weeks. The men taking 15 gm of collagen per day did not gain any fat at all. “Body fat mass was unchanged in the collagen group, whereas a significant increase in body fat mass was observed in the placebo group.” Strength was increased in both groups… But collagen seemed to boost strength more than the placebo did. “Both groups showed significant increases in all strength tests, with the trend for slightly more pronounced effects in the collagen group.” The increase in strength could be explained by reinforced connective tissue being bolstered by additional collagen. Adding just a small amount of collagen to a resistance training program improves body composition. “We demonstrated improved body composition in healthy, recreationally active men subsequent to prolonged collagen supplementation in combination with resistance training.” These days, many people probably do not get enough collagen. Up to 30% of all the protein in the body is collagen. “Approximately 25–30% of total protein mass in human bodies is collagen.” The protein is essential for proper repair of the body. “The positive effects of collagen peptide supplementation in wound healing, diverse reduced joint and tendon pains, and increased subjective ankle stability in injured athletes and patients have been previously described.” Many people could benefit from increasing their dietary collagen intake. The best dietary source is bone broth. Supplements work too. You should always consult a healthcare practitioner about treating and diagnosing health-related problems. ----Important Message---- This long-forgotten hormone lets men feel as good as teenagers again [Can't see this image? The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
