The “freedom” button is life changing...EVERYTHING gets dramatically wonderful...here’s the full story... -----Important Message----- HUGE epiphany on the golf course... A student of mine was playing golf at the driving range. Then he puts down the club and sticks himself with a needle. He was giving himself an insulin shot… Some other golfers were eying this guy giving himself a shot... That’s about when my student began taking my advice and used a much simpler method to reverse diabetes instead of sticking himself with more insulin. You see, men with type 2 diabetes often have more than enough insulin in their bodies. They need to reverse their diabetes, and insulin doesn’t help that. Instead, I found there are just two simple things you can do in the kitchen… requiring only a few minutes of your time… Not only will your blood sugars levels improve... you’ll also be on your way to reversing diabetes 100% naturally. Want to know the [two simple things you can do in the kitchen to reverse diabetes? GO here now.]( ----------------- Have you tried the “freedom” button? “Matt, I’m always feeling on edge and distracted. I feel like I can never focus, concentrate, or even be happy”. I hear variations of this theme a lot when I talk to my students. Let’s face it, modern life can be…overwhelming. You have to be “on” 24 hours a day. People expect you to pick up your phone. The expect you to answer text messages or emails instantly. Studies show that every time you check email, a social feed, or respond to a notification... ...your mind requires 23 minutes of re-focus time to get back on task. It’s a phenomenal cost to our entire workforce and to each of us individually as we strive to do our best work. And there never seems to be any downtime or time for fun. All of this pressure to be always available to anyone in your network – whether it’s work or home or school – gets really old really fast. And it COMPLETELY undermines what most people actually want out of life. I have found that most people want real connections with other people. Whether that be their spouse or their friends, they want to feel like they belong and that they matter. That’s completely normal. It’s how everyone feels most of the time. Thankfully, there’s a setting on your phone (that most people never use) that can help you get that feeling of connection with other people. Let’s look at how it works. [01-05-19-IMG-1] can't see this image? Click on "load images" or "always allow images for this sender" Phones and computers are revolutionary technologies. The Internet has made life better for countless people. We’re more efficient than ever before and we have access to the entire world with just a click of a button. But like many things, the Internet and modern technology have their downside. It’s making us feel less connected, more distracted, and drained. “Our digital lives may be making us more distracted, distant, and drained, according to research presented at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association.” On the surface, this seems a little strange. Most of us use our phones, our computers, and our tablets to connect with other people. But they can also put up a major barrier. And you don’t have to be a major phone user – even a little phone use can make you feel very lonely. If you want to enjoy life, it may be a good idea to turn off your phone. I’m not talking about all the time. Not even most the time. But when you are interacting with people in person – especially people you care about – the setting on your phone you may want to use is the OFF button. “Even minor phone use during a meal with friends was enough to make the diners feel distracted and reduced their enjoyment of the experience, one study found.” Notice I said to use the off button – not just to put your phone on silent mode… That is because knowing that your phone could buzz or vibrate at any moment is incredibly distracting. And that distraction can keep you from connecting with the people you care about. “People who were allowed to use their phones during dinner had more trouble staying present in the moment…” In this experiment, people were asked to either put their phones on the table with their ringer on or to completely silence their phones and place them in a container. Turns out, having phones available means less enjoyment in social interactions. My main goal in life is to enjoy it as much as possible. For me, that means strong social connections with people who are close to me – especially my partner, Jodi. But, phones get in the way of this type of connection. “The researchers found that people who had their phones easily accessible during the experiment not only used them more than those with their phones put away, but they also reported feeling more distracted and enjoyed the experience less.” Turning off your phone may seem really difficult at first. And there are alternatives that works just as well… ...like the app called “Freedom”. Using Freedom makes it easy to: Eliminate distractions and focus on a single taskBlock websites and apps or the entire internet if you want to. With your distractions blocked, you can get into your workflow and stay on task. Break bad habitsJust working distraction-free helps break the habit of checking whatever digital source is beckoning. The more you experience Freedom time, the more you’ll find it indispensable. Build new (good) habitsStart small, then build new habits of longer periods of focused work time. Treat your email like a mailbox (the mail comes and goes once a day) and enjoy your social media proactively on your time (not in respond mode.) You can give “Freedom” a try if you’d like to improve your connection with the people around you. (Iphone users may find the new iOS 12 offers a feature called Screentime that does the same thing...) ------Important Message------ The strange secret to getting spontaneous “semis” any time... The other day, my wife said something to me, and leaned over and kissed me, and I realized at that moment, I was suddenly “rocky” down there. And I remembered that for many years, that never happened. Never. Always it took a lot of stimulation. Now it’s like a whispered comment and a kiss can get me raring to go. Crazy, isn’t it? And many men want the same thing for themselves, but the ONE thing that stops them is not enough blood flow down there. And the blood flow is not there because blood pressure treatments are KILLING men’s rockiness… ...so when their wives or girlfriends make a sexy comment, or tease them, or lean over to kiss them...they aren’t getting those woody moments they used to get. Now, though, it’s virtually SPRING instant “coming to life” down there -- isn’t it fantastic to be a man?
