And it’s a frustration I often hear in the work we do with men to help them get their sexual function back, lower their blood pressure, and sometimes even reverse diabetes. The guys I work with usually want a girlfriend (because having a really great woman by your side is awesome). But they often lack confidence due to past relationships, health struggles, ED – among other reasons. If you feel like this, you’re not alone – and it’s not your fault. In fact, many, many men have written to me to say “Women are just coming up to me now – it’s crazy.” So today, I’m going to tell you about a study that shows you how to become more attractive to women EASILY. Believe it or not, there is some interesting research that shows how facial hair can impact your attractiveness to women. And it’s a bit on the counter-intuitive side... Depending on your profession, you may not have a choice about how much facial hair you have or don’t have. But if you have a choice and you’re looking for a long-term relationship with a new woman, then you may want to consider growing in a beard. In this study, over 8,000 women rated attractiveness for either short- or long-term relationships… They consistently chose “lightly bearded men” as being more desirable than clean-shaven. “Our findings suggest that beardedness may be attractive when judging long‐term relationships as a signal of intrasexual formidability and the potential to provide direct benefits to females.” In this study, the researchers are calling a light beard “heavy stubble” – which is kind of a weird name. I showed the photo below to a few women friends of mine and, while most of them liked this look, none of them called it heavy stubble. Click on "load images" or "always allow images for this sender" “We found that light and heavy stubble faces were more attractive than either full beards or clean‐shaven faces…” In addition, the researchers presented more feminine and more masculine faces in each stage of beardedness. Interestingly, the most masculine faces in the study were deemed the least attractive. The researchers think this is because extremely masculine faces give the impression of aggression. Extremely feminine faces didn’t fare as well either. “Masculine faces were judged as least attractive, followed by feminized faces, with unmanipulated faces rated most attractive, which also replicates the general patterns reported elsewhere.” I know you can’t change your face, but there is good news about that part too. Beards made men with both feminine and extremely masculine faces more attractive… And guys with “average” faces were the most attractive of all. “To some extent, full beards dampen the polarizing effects of extreme masculinity and femininity, possibly by obscuring the facial features that contribute to these overall shape cues.” As you can see in this chart, men with the “heavy stubble” and facial features that range from slightly feminine to slightly masculine are the most attractive to women. And even though you can’t control your facial features outside of Photoshop, you can control whether or not you have a beard. []([12-08-IMG-4] can't see this image? Click on "load images" or "always allow images for this sender" So, if your profession allows it and you’re looking for a long-term relationship, then science says to grow a beard to become more attractive.
