Please give me a moment to explain. [Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate] {NAME}, In a moment, I’m going to ask you to [add a donation of any amount to keep my new campaign ad on TV.]( But first, I want to tell you a little bit about me, my community, and what made me run for Missouri’s open U.S. Senate seat. [Frame of Lucas' new TV ad with photo of Lucas protesting abortion bans and the caption: It's all on the line.]( [Watch it, then chip in »]( I grew up in a working class neighborhood in Cole County. My family was already living paycheck-to-paycheck, but we were bankrupted by medical bills after my little sister was born with a heart condition. We relied on the generosity of our neighbors — folks who didn’t have any more than we did — to make it through. They helped send me to college. And after I graduated from Mizzou, I joined the U.S. Marine Corps to serve the community that took care of me and my family. But while my buddies and I risked our lives building up someone else’s country and fighting for “freedom,” career politicians and their corporate sponsors spent decades waging social and economic warfare on Missouri. They shipped our jobs overseas. They destroyed family farms. They attacked the union way of life. And now, they’ve taken away the fundamental freedom for people to make decisions about their own bodies, families, and economic opportunities by banning abortion — without exceptions, even in cases of rape or incest. I’m running for U.S. Senate because Missourians deserve a warrior who will fight for them — and I’m still ready to serve. It’s time everyday Missourians like the folks in my community — real people who know how to take care of each other — called the shots in this country. And today, I’m asking for your help to make it happen. So {NAME}: [Will you add a donation of any amount to my grassroots campaign today? There are only 25 days left until our primary, so anything you can afford to give will play a big role in helping our campaign reach undecided voters during the most critical moment of this election yet.]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: [Contribute $10]( [Contribute $25]( [Contribute $30]( [Contribute $50]( [Contribute $100]( [Contribute $250]( [Give another amount]( Together, we’re going to take back power from the corrupt elites calling the shots in our country and put working people in charge.
