It’s time we finally honor the veterans who sacrificed so much for our country. Paid for by Luc

It’s time we finally honor the veterans who sacrificed so much for our country. [Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate] {NAME} — At the Walk of Honor in Kansas City today, new bricks were dedicated to veterans. It made me think about the people I served with in Iraq and Afghanistan — some of America's best — and how we can honor them. Will you please give me a few moments to explain?  For the last two decades, political elites wasted $6.4 trillion and an entire generation of America’s best on wars for oil — sending soldiers like me and my buddies on doomed missions to build up countries like Iraq and Afghanistan while our communities back home crumbled. Even now, the same war-hungry crooks who dumped trillions into nation-building abroad, lined the pockets of their defense contractor donors, and let us fight and die in these pointless wars are telling us we can’t “afford” to invest in our people and communities here at home. We can’t let these lying elites continue calling the shots in Congress. That’s why I’m running for U.S. Senate. Everyday people — folks who know how to take care of each other — should be calling the shots in our country, not ultra-wealthy elites who rarely send their kids to die in war. Together, we can end the war-hungry defense lobby hellbent on sending our troops back to the battlefield and make war profiteering a federal crime. We can stand up for our nation’s current and future veterans. And we can finally make investments and build up our communities back home. Thanks for hearing me out and for being on this team. Hope you’ve had a good Veterans Day, Lucas A message from Team Lucas Kunce We’re building a grassroots movement to fundamentally change who calls the shots in this country. The last time this U.S. Senate seat in Missouri was up, it was decided by less than 80,000 votes. We have a real chance to take back this seat for working people — but we can’t do it without your support.
