We’ve accomplished so much together this year, {NAME}. [Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate] Hey {NAME}, it’s Lucas Kunce. Before we all get busy with our New Year's celebrations today, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together this year. So before I ask you to [add a donation of any amount toward our end-of-quarter goal ahead of our deadline at midnight tonight,]( please let me share: [CHIP IN NOW →]( When we launched this campaign by holding Josh Hawley accountable for his actions on January 6th, I knew we had the potential to build a powerful grassroots movement. We rallied tens of thousands of supporters together in that first week, broke fundraising records, and put a national spotlight on this U.S. Senate race. National Journal said our campaign represents “one of the Democratic Party’s better offensive targets” in 2024 — and we’ve worked hard to prove that right. Over the first nine months of this year, our campaign outraised Josh Hawley — breaking the record for the most ever raised at this point in the cycle by a U.S. Senate challenger in Missouri. That was huge. We consolidated support across the state, from statewide and local unions to elected officials and community leaders. The Missouri AFL-CIO endorsed our campaign earlier than they’ve ever endorsed a challenger before. And national organizations like League of Conservation Voters announced their early endorsements because they know how high the stakes are in this race. [Lucas standing with local elected and union leaders at his big rally in St. Louis County.]( Throughout the year, we drew out voters across the state to town halls in places like Hannibal, Cape Girardeau, and St. Joe. At our big labor rally in St. Louis County earlier this fall, hundreds of Missourians who are ready to defeat Josh Hawley in 2024 came together to support our campaign. And most recently, after we spent all year holding Hawley accountable to voters, multiple polls confirmed that this is already a margin-of-error race. [St. Louis Post-Dispatch headline: New poll touts Lucas Kunce's chance of upsetting Josh Hawley. Two polls beneath. Poll 1: Lucas Kunce 43%, Josh Hawley 44%, Margin of Error +/- 3% | Poll 2: Lucas Kunce 42%, Josh Hawley 46%, Margin of Error 4.9%]( [DEFEAT JOSH HAWLEY]( The unfortunate thing is that GOP insiders and corporate mega-donors have been worried about our campaign since the day we launched. They know that Josh Hawley’s approvals are tanking among Missouri voters, and they know that our message of taking back power for working people is strong enough to flip this Senate seat next November. So now they’re trying everything. They attacked me for being a “nerd” and playing a card game. They transferred huge amounts to Hawley’s campaign over the course of this year to make him look strong. And over the summer, they even had a handful of mega-donors put more than a million dollars into a brand new Super PAC to fund even more attacks against me. [FIGHT BACK NOW]( After all the momentum we’ve gained over the last few months especially, there’s no telling what’s to come in the new year — what they’ll do, say, or spend to tear down our movement and re-elect Josh Hawley. After our deadline tonight, and once reports are submitted in a few weeks, we’ll know more about how much they’ve invested in our race. But for now, we can’t stop growing the movement we’ve built this year and we can’t afford to fall short of our end-of-quarter goal. That’s why I’m coming directly to you, {NAME}: [Will you add your first donation of any amount toward our goal of raising 40,000 individual donations before midnight tonight? I’m not taking a cent from corporate PACs or Big Oil + Pharma executives in this race, so you know I mean it when I say anything you can afford to give makes a big impact.]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: [Contribute $10]( [Contribute $25]( [Contribute $30]( [Contribute $50]( [Contribute $100]( [Contribute $250]( [Give another amount]( I can’t tell you how much your support means to me, {NAME}.
