He’s claiming his latest bill would “reverse” the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United — a decision in favor of an organization that Hawley’s proudly taken endorsements and max-out checks from. Or at least, that’s how he’s marketing it. Like all his other legislation, this is just a campaign prop. It’s a fake bill that, upon closer inspection, doesn’t do anything. But don’t just take our word for it.
