[Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate] Hey {NAME}, I’m Lucas’ campaign manager. It’s been a few months since you’ve heard from me, and the frank reason is this: The last few months have been crazy. First, National Republicans launched a bizarre campaign against Lucas attacking him for… playing a card game and having been a cheerleader in college. No, really. [Tweet from Lucas that reads 'Guilty!' in response to a tweet from the NRSC that reads: :crying laughing emoji: NERD ALERT: Democrat Senate Candidate Lucas Kunce Likes Magic The Gather, Was First Male Cheerleader at Yale]( [HELP LUCAS FIGHT BACK »]( Just 12 days later, we learned we had outraised Josh Hawley for Q1. Not long after, the Missouri Fire Fighters endorsed Lucas against Hawley — despite having endorsed Republican Senators in the past. Both were huge early signs for Lucas’ ability to win. [On the left, a chart showing Lucas Kunce outraised Josh Hawley in the first fundraising quarter of 2023. Lucas raised $1.1M, Hawley raised $600k. On the right, an excerpt of the Missouri Fire Fighters' endorsement of Lucas Kunce as reported in the St. Louis Labor Tribune.]( Then, Lucas and Marilyn welcomed Harvey to the world — but Harvey came 7 weeks early, which meant Lucas had to spend time off the campaign trail as he traveled between home and the NICU. He’s out and doing great now too! [Photos of Lucas and Marilyn with Harvey in the NICU and heading home.]( The Missouri AFL-CIO endorsed Lucas, along with many more statewide and local labor unions. Since Lucas got back on the trail, we had a big pro-worker rally in St. Louis with hundreds of everyday Missourians fired up to elect Lucas and defeat Hawley — along with packed crowds at events covering every corner of the state! [On the left, a photo of Lucas addressing a room full of people in Moniteau County. On the right, a photo of Lucas waving to supporters at a big rally with workers in St. Louis County.]( [HELP LUCAS FIGHT BACK »]( With the support of Missouri’s election-winning labor coalition, along with a record-breaking movement of grassroots donors, Lucas’ campaign has simply been on fire the last few months. And it’s making a difference. New polling shows Josh Hawley is the least popular incumbent of any GOP Senator up in 2024 — even more unpopular than Ted Cruz and Rick Scott! This race is turning into a dead heat: [On the left, a graph that shows Josh Hawley has the worst approval rating of any GOP Senate candidate running in 2024, even worse than Ted Cruz and Rick Scott. On the right, a graph of a new poll that shows Lucas in a statistical tie with Josh Hawley.]( But with all this success, it’s gotten Hawley worried. Don’t just take my word for it — here’s a message he sent his donors just a few days ago: “Missouri could be one of the closest Senate races in America. In fact, control of the Senate could come down to us.” And now, corporate elites and GOP mega-donors have launched a new Super PAC to prop up Hawley and attack Lucas, already seeding it with $1 MILLION. If you think that makes me nervous, you’d be right — but it’s also the surest sign yet that Lucas Kunce can win this race. [So today, just a little under 12 hours before our final day of fundraising for the quarter, I’m asking you to chip in a donation of any amount to help us fight back and win this race. This is our chance to hold Hawley accountable and to take this U.S. Senate back for working families in Missouri — and we can’t waste it:]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: [Contribute $10]( [Contribute $25]( [Contribute $30]( [Contribute $50]( [Contribute $100]( [Contribute $250]( [Give another amount]( Thank you for taking action when it matters most, Caleb Cavarretta Campaign Manager [Donate]( [Like on Facebook]( [Follow on Twitter]( [Follow on Instagram]( Paid for by Lucas Kunce for Missouri This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#). Email is the most important way we keep in touch with people like you.
