* Sent in support of Debbie Mucarsel-Powell for Florida and Lucas Kunce for Missouri * [Debbie Mucarsel-Powell sitting at table with friendship bracelets on wrist]( I'm always in my "Florida!!!" era, friend. (Yes, I love Taylor Swift!) It's pretty cool to have a song written about your own state — and even cooler when the person who wrote it is none other than Taylor Swift. So, before I ask you to [chip in $5 to my campaign and Lucas Kunce,]( can I have a moment to share my own "Love Story" to Florida, and why running to defeat Rick Scott is so important to me? I remember stepping outside of the airport when I first visited my sister in Florida and immediately falling in love with everything, from the lively, diverse communities to the wonderful humidity. There was something so warm and welcoming about the Sunshine State — and I knew "All Too Well" that this would eventually be my home, too. I've had the incredible privilege of building a beautiful life here. This is where I fell in love, raised a family of my own, and began dedicating my career to serving this state. I've helped to protect Florida's wildlife, preserve our coral reefs, and lead new programs to improve access to affordable health care for Floridians — and this was all before I even ran for office and became the first South American in Congress. In the House: - I wrote the bill to expand seniors' Medicare Advantage coverage to ensure more Americans could get the care they deserve; - I worked with Republicans to provide economic relief to families and small businesses; - I secured $200 million for Everglades restoration; and - I fought tirelessly for common sense gun safety reforms and served as the vice chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. I've spent my life serving this state and getting to know the communities who call it home. But my opponent, Rick Scott, has spent his career scamming Floridians, lying to voters, and making himself richer. Friend, he really is "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived." While I'm fighting to improve Florida, he's focused on taking away our rights and freedoms. Listen, I know the tides are turning and Florida is ready to finally flip blue. I can see it in the polling data: Rick Scott's approval rating is going down, while I'm catching up to him in the polls. But it doesn't change the fact that I'm going up against his million-dollar fortune — and right now, he's putting everything he's got into defeating me. So, friend, I'm counting on you to choose unity, progress, and kindness over Rick Scott's extremist agenda. So here's my final question for you: "...Ready For It?" [Will you chip in $5 — or whatever you can spare before midnight tonight — to split with Lucas Kunce and help me defeat Rick Scott, flip Florida blue, and protect our razor-thin Senate majority?]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: [Contribute $10]( [Contribute $25]( [Contribute $30]( [Contribute $50]( [Contribute $100]( [Contribute $250]( [Give another amount]( Thank you, Debbie (your fellow Swiftie) Paid for by Lucas Kunce for Missouri This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#). Email is the most important way we keep in touch with people like you.
