This is the big problem: WATER. Water ruins everything. It ruins clothes, food, hiking, and family camping trips. It creates disasters in a real life survival situation if you are not prepared for it. You must keep all your essential gear and food dry and away from water because... Wet survival goods are useless. Here's a few reasons why: Dry clothes are necessary for keeping you warm and your body temperature stable.
