We have several opportunities to get involved with our school and we are always looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team! Our volunteer program is very flexibl e and is designed to meet your needs and interests. Our volunteer and intern program has been such a success over the past couple of years and we are so grateful to all of the wonderful people who have given their time to Jacob’s Ladder. Due to the overwhelming interest in our program, we do have limited availability for our volunteer schedule. In an effort to keep things consistent for our students and to uphold the unique programming that we offer, we ask that you meet the following requirements: • Must be 18 years of age unless you are participating in a sanctioned program through a local high school • Agree to volunteer for a minimum of 1 semester (August -December, January -May, or June -July) o If you are a college student and need a specific hour amount, p lease email me at frontoffice@jacobsladderschool.net for further instructions regarding your time commitment. • Complete the online application and orientation process • Pass a criminal background check • Interview with a volunteer coordinator • Attend a mandatory training day If you are interested in volunteering, please continue to follow the prompts. You will be directed to our orientation packet. Please pay close attention to the content regarding our methodology and how we accomplish our unique programming approach. Also, it is required and very important to view the “Love One Another” video to get a better understanding of the atmosphere and environments that flourish at Jacob’s Ladder. This video also reflects the abundant love and positive demeanor that is needed to be a successful volunteer or intern on our campus. After completing this initial process, you will be prompted to take our assessment exam and fill out our online application. When finished, you will email this exam , a picture of yourself, and your application to frontoffice@jacobsladderschool.net . Volunteer positions are limited and are scheduled first come, first serve. Selections are made by matching the current volunteer opportunities with the interests and availability of potential volunteers. If we find a match, our volunteer coordinator will contact you for a personal interview. Although we are continually assessing our volunteer needs, we may not be able to match your interests and availability with our current opportunit ies on campus. However, there are always needs throughout the year for off- campus or after hour’s activities. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please check the appropriate box under the volunteer options. If you have any further questions, please let me know through email at frontoffice@jacobsladderschool.net or by phone at 770 -998 -1017. I look forward to meeting you and having you as a part of our team! I hope you all had a wonderful summer!
