How to Learn Grammar on LingQ

As part of this approach, we prioritize learning vocabulary over grammar. Traditional language instruction puts a strong emphasis on grammar because it is easy to test, but that doesn't necessarily lead to better understanding and fluency. Too much focus on grammar distracts learners from the primary activities that lead to better understanding - reading and listening. Learning grammar rules is not helpful without knowing words to make use of grammar rules. However, it can be useful to have a grammar guide to reference as you expose yourself through lots of reading and listening.
