[Lindsey Cheek for Attorney General] Iâm not mincing words when I say this, {NAME}: Our Republican leadership in Baton Rouge couldnât be more out of touch with everyday Louisianans. While Louisiana families struggle to put food on the table, our leaders line their pockets with big checks from Big Pharma and special interests. While Louisiana ranks among one of the worst for public schools, our leaders continue to under-invest in education and leave our children behind. While insurance companies hike up their rates, our leaders would rather demonize and attack LGBTQ families. Frankly, Iâm fed up with the BS. Iâm tired of the name-calling. Iâm tired of petty politics. And Iâm tired of seeing our state fall behind while NOTHING gets done. Our families all want the same thing: to live in a safe community, to put our kids through the best schools, and to make decisions for themselves instead of their government meddling in their lives.
