Wouldn't that be great? 3 Things You Need to Know This Weekend The Stock Market Goes Crazy (Up!)​ First up, we have the S&P 500, which decided to show off by hitting a new closing high, all while the Federal Reserve and Big Tech were in the green room, prepping for their own performances. The swaggering S&P 500 was like, "Look at me, climbing the charts like a viral TikTok dance," fueled by investors who are apparently betting on tech giants not to drop the mic in their upcoming earnings reports. (Hint: They didn't - the earnings were off the charts.) Can the rally continue? With a blockbuster jobs report Friday, lower interest rates, and all the big tech companies beating their earnings estimates, it's hard to NOT be a bull right now. 📈 Short Sellers Target the Regional Banks​ Short sellers have turned a tidy profit of $1 billion betting against the regional banks. Imagine a heist movie, but instead of stealing jewels, they're betting on stocks to fall. Can this continue? Check out the regional banking ETF - symbol KRE: ​ There's a lovely missed pivot level about 10% lower than where we are right now. It looks like there is more pain to come for the regional banks. (I might join the short sellers with a March $40 put). 📈 1 Stock You Didn't Know Warren Buffett Owns​ Did you know Warren Buffett owns shares in SIRI (Sirius XM Satellite Radio)? Yep, [he sure does](=). It seems like he wouldn't own a stock like that, but it's (surprisingly) a profitable company with a very respectable P/E ratio of 17.
