When we embody gratitude, we accept and admit that the good things in this life aren't brought about by self-sufficiency. They're from God. Sitting with that truth helps us to de-stress. We can quit trying to do it all ourselves. We'll make time for Sabbath, and our energy can be spent more prominently on people than on tasks.
