[Lifehack.org]( Take a Step Back and Re-prioritize When you feel overwhelmed and as if you're missing out on the most important things in life, it's time to step back and reconsider your daily priorities. [Share today's tip with a friend.]( Hi there, Do you know we have a LifeHack community where members can freely share their thoughts and ideas, as well as seek advice and support? In today's email, I'd like to share a story about a member of our community with you. Let’s call this member Anne. As a working mom, Anne's days were always full of obligations. Her days began with a mad dash to get her two children ready for school and herself ready for work. Then it was back to work for a long day of meetings, deadlines, and emails. Anne was exhausted by the time she arrived home. She wished she could spend more time with her children and husband, but there was always something else that required her attention.... There was laundry to fold, dishes to wash, bills to pay, and a never-ending to-do list that seemed to grow by the day. There never seemed to be enough hours in the day for Anne. As the weeks turned into months, and the months into years, Anne began to feel as if she was missing out on the important things in life.... She watched her children grow up before her eyes and realized she had been so preoccupied with work and housework that she had missed some of their most important moments…. Can you relate to Anne’s situation? If you're nodding your head, you're not alone. Many of us feel like we're missing out on the things that matter most in life…. But there is still hope. There are things you can do to stop missing out on important things and start prioritizing what really matters. First, take a step back and re-prioritize your daily demands. Determine what is truly important to you and ensure that you are devoting your time and energy to it. Learn to say no to commitments that are incompatible with your values and goals. Second, learn to delegate. You are not required to do everything yourself. Look for help from family, friends, or coworkers. You'll be surprised at how much more you can accomplish with support. Anne, for example, began delegating some household tasks to her husband and children, and she gradually felt less stressed and overwhelmed. I understand that time is your most valuable asset, and I believe that everyone should have the tools and resources they need to make the most of it. That's why my team and I have put together a comprehensive Productivity Bundle. The Bundle is designed to help you streamline your schedule, optimize your workflow, and reclaim your time for the things that really matter. With our Productivity Bundle, you'll get access to a wealth of... Tried-and-true strategies, expert advice, and cutting-edge tools to help you work smarter, not harder.
