Hi , Are you up for a quick story? It’s about the power of simple persuasion from the show business: On losing 25 pounds, Jimmy Kimmel wrote in Men’s Journal how Dr Oz influenced his decision to lose weight. Here’s a quote from the article: "...he [Dr Oz] called me and said, "I'm worried about you. You're a young man. You have to take care of yourself." I was like, "You know what? Dr Oz shouldn't care more about my health more than I do."' Do you notice the main keywords there? They have nothing to do with losing weight, they don’t force any idea, and they aren’t emotionally overwhelming: "I’m worried about you". This approach enabled Jimmy to find motivation and make a decision, instead of feeling under pressure with limited opportunities for what he "should" and "shouldn’t" do. Think about this method and approach yourself in the same way. Don’t force anything that stresses you out, don’t create unrealistic guidelines, and feel obliged to follow them. Take it slow, simply decide what’s best for you at this moment and what steps you can do right now to start making things happen. Procrastination is nothing but avoiding responsibilities and activities that feel forced on you. Then you feel like a failure because you haven’t done anything you wanted, followed by additional "should" and "shouldn’t" and so on until there’s nothing left but stress. So instead of blaming yourself, listen closely to your thoughts, determine which one is the automatic negative thought, and think how you can find the right way of motivating yourself. If you want to look deeper into the reasons why you procrastinate and exactly how you can persuade yourself to action, there’s a good chance you will also love my course called ["Make it happen"](. In this 3-week program, you’ll learn how to re-wire your brain for action and never miss opportunities that can change your life. If you are feeling the same hesitation right now that has become your dear "life-partner", let me show you a testimonial from our student: "This program was the wake-up call I've been waiting for my whole life. I can finally see the light after years of missed opportunities, regrets, and what-ifs. If only I had the information in this program 10 years ago, my life would be so different. Don't wait to make your dreams happen!" - Julia Hopkins, HR Manager Look at the keywords she’s using: "The wake-up call" "The light after years of missed opportunities and what-ifs" "Don’t wait to make your dreams happen" Every time you wake up the first step is always the hardest yet necessary to start living your life. So here’s my advice: try not to listen to that familiar voice of hesitation in your mind and look at this like your first step out of the warm, comfy bed, and an opportunity to start [making things happen](. - Leon [Is this email helpful?
