What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about these names?   Jeff Bezos. Elon Musk. Michael Jordan. What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about these names, ? For most people, they all represent one thing... Overnight success. After all, who doesn't like an overnight success story? Society loves winners and doesn't tolerate failure. They love to believe these high-achievers just woke up one day, took a little bit of action, and had IMMEDIATE success. They want you to believe that's the standard. That if you're really good at something, success will show up one day knocking on your door and making TONS of money. All you have to do is risk it all as those passionate entrepreneurs did and you'll find instant success. Guaranteed. But... Wwhat happens to those who start pursuing their dreams with that mentality? Well, that's when they find out the other side of the story. The hard way. As it turns out, starting their project from scratch was not as easy as the popular culture made it look like. There were a lot of failures and hard work along the way. Many problems and challenges to overcome. Nobody told them that opportunities would be scarce. That it would take a long time before they could even start to see some results. Those who believed it would be easy end up frustrated and confused after just a few months. In the end, they usually lose all their motivation and quit. All because they had the wrong expectations from the start. Now, the question is... How can we avoid this from happening to us? How can we set the right expectations for ourselves? By realizing there's no such thing as "overnight success". Let me explain. Nobody knew who Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos was before they started making millions. We came to know them once they won. That's the part all want to talk about. Nobody talks about all the struggles they had to go through to get here. For example... Did you know that Paypal, one of Elon Musk's most successful companies, was voted as ‘the Worst Business Concept of the Year’? Did you know that Michael Jordan was cut from his high school's varsity team because he wasn't good enough? Or how Amazon had a $2.2 billion debt before it became profitable? None of them were an overnight success. It required them decades of trial and error and a lot of perseverance to get where they wanted to be. Nothing was given to them. They earned it. When you understand that, something changes within you. You no longer lose your motivation when problems appear. You no longer get discouraged by bad situations. Even when you fail, you'll have the motivation you need to keep moving forward and succeed. Because you know what to expect, you'll get ready to face it. You know challenges and struggles will come. And still, you'll have the strength to conquer them all. Keep that in mind. Your mentor, Leon P.S. If you've lost all the motivation you once had and don't know how to get it back, then I have something for you. It's a book called the Actionable Motivation on Demand Handbook. In this book I'll teach you how to generate the motivation you need to conquer any challenge and get the results you want. For this week only, I'm giving it away with an 80% OFF. So, if you want to get your motivation back and make things happen in your life...
