[👋 ](=) Hi! In my last email, I explained that time is more important than money. Today, I’d like to share with you some techniques for squeezing the most out of your time. Before we get started, let me ask you a question: Do you regard time as a friend or an enemy? I often ask my life coach clients this question, and the answers are revealing. Some say that time is their enemy. Some say that they’ve never thought about it. But, only a tiny minority ever states that time is their friend. Clearly, most of us have been taught since childhood that we must battle furiously against time, and that if we fail to do this - time will destroy our hopes and dreams. But, time wants to be our friend. We just need to know how to get along with it! The first step in working with time is to understand that it is orderly, and that we must match this if we are to put ourselves in unison with time. What I mean by this, is that you should always have a plan for your days, weeks, months and years. On a daily level, it’s definitely worth spending a few moments at the start of the day to plan and organize your work. For example, if you work in an office, your first 15 minutes of the day should probably look something like this: - Spend 5 minutes evaluating what you need to achieve during the day - Spend 5 minutes deciding on which tasks are essential and which are not - Spend a further 5 minutes sorting your essential tasks into order of priority - Then start work immediately on the highest-priority task By just spending 15 minutes each morning doing this, you’ll massively increase your efficiency and productivity. This is because you’ll know what you need to do, when you need to do it by - and you’ll always be working on the highest-priority tasks first. Working in this way will put you in harmony with time, instead of fighting against it. You’ll not only get more work done, but you’ll also enjoy your time more, and you’ll likely amaze your colleagues with your new super-productive way of working! Time, of course, is just one of the 7 Cornerstone Skills that are vital for your health, happiness and success. In case you’re unfamiliar with the Cornerstone Skills, here’s the full list: - Creativity - Learning - Memory - Focus - Motivation - Habits - Time I’ll be talking much more about each of these skills in my upcoming emails, but for now, I’d encourage you to head over to read my article: [The Ultimate Guide to Prioritizing Your Work And Life](=) Are you encountering time management issues in your life right now? What's your story? Please feel free to hit the reply button... I’d love to hear from you! Cheers! - Leon [Facebook]( [Twitter](=) [Pinterest]( This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
