Coming Soon: Talk Like a Pirate Day It's still a few weeks away, but it might be time to brush up on your Pirate proficiency. [Talk Like a Pirate Day]( is one of our favorite LibraryThing traditions. In recent years, we've celebrated with a literary treasure hunt sending members scouring LibraryThing pages. Stay tuned to [the LibraryThing blog]( on September 19th for this year's festivities! Tag Updates We've made some big changes to tag pages, and even more so, tag detail pages recently, including canonical forms of tags, tag aliases, and translations. The goal is to streamline the tag interface on LibraryThing, and make the data clearer to members, as well as to improve the data itself by exposing aliases, translations, etc. Read about the updates on [Talk](, or explore one of the tag pages—[Education](, for example to see it in action. Talk of the Thing [Words you learned from reading.]( What are your favorite words you've learned from reading? See other members' favorites and share yours on [Talk](. [Beach reads.]( What books (or kinds of books) do you like to take to the beach? Add yours on [Talk](.
