After all, life isn't defined by your financial statement but by how you live. The Club hosts a variety of events that allow Members to learn about unique investment opportunities from industry experts - including Alex himself - while enjoying the luxuries of well-crafted excursions, first-class destinations, and exclusive visits to the world's hidden historical and geographical treasures. Our Members recently completed their journey through northern Italy on The Oxford Club's Wealth, Wine & Wander Retreat. Here's what our Chairman's Circle Liaison Hannah Green had to say about her last day on the trip... Ciao from Italia! On Day 10 of our Wealth, Wine & Wander tour of northern Italy, we took a private boat from Venice to the famed Venetian Lagoon islands. Our first stop was Murano, a small town renowned for its longtime glass-making tradition. We visited an authentic factory that has been making glass for over 200 years, and we had the pleasure of watching a glassblowing demonstration while sipping fine champagne. Next, we boated to Burano, an island famous for its lacework and rainbow-colored buildings, and spent some free time exploring. We then sailed over to Torcello, where we had lunch at the world-famous Ristorante Locanda Cipriani. We enjoyed Bellinis in the garden before lunch and then visited Santa Maria Assunta, the oldest surviving structure in the Venetian Lagoon, which dates back to A.D. 639. We cruised back to Venice to get ready before our gala dinner surprise. Gondoliers picked us up in front of our hotel and paddled us to our dinner destination. We pulled up in front of a palace on the Grand Canal, where we were greeted with champagne and a string trio playing Vivaldi. We were then led upstairs to a beautiful banquet room with balconies overlooking the canal. It was an evening none of us will ever forget. Later we traded hugs and said goodbye. We have had a marvelous time traveling through Italy these last 10 days, and we will be able to look back fondly on this trip for the rest of our lives! Although our time in Italy has come to an end, some of the group will continue on to Vienna for an extra five days of wealth, wine and wandering! If you'd like the opportunity to travel with Oxford Club Members in the future, check out our upcoming event below... [Chairman Circle 2022 Cruise]( We would like to personally invite you on our [Chairman's Circle 2022 Financial Discovery Cruise]( from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Southampton, England, August 11-23.
