Not one bit. bsp; When he did an interview on ABC News two days ago, he blasted the Russians for putting out something that is arguably ineffective and may end up hurting people. In his mind, they haven’t done the groundwork that’s necessary to prove the safety and effectiveness of their vaccine candidate. bsp; To add salt to the wound, he finished off his interview with this little snarky comment: bsp;“We have a way of doing things in this country where we care about safety and we care about efficacy.” If you go into the dictionary and look up the definition of “sore loser” you can bet a good amount of pocket change that Fauci’s picture would be right beside it. bsp; What Fauci REALLY means to say is that he’s pissed because the United States isn’t leading the race in 1st place. His timeline involves an American COVID-19 vaccine candidate being released in early 2021 that is 70-75% effective. e. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that the Russians have developed a flawless, guaranteed-to-work vaccine. But let’s get real for a second: EVERYONE is rushing the vaccine development process. Even with a minimum of 365 days to develop a safe vaccine, the entire process is being accelerated at a pace far beyond the norm of science and medicine. bsp; Should the Russians actually succeed, their vaccine candidate can start being distributed internationally. Both their citizens AND the rest of the world will hopefully benefit, which in turn could hand Russia the keys towards a global vaccine monopoly. Although, there likely won’t be a monopoly, considering that other countries, including the US, have vaccine prototypes in the making. And just because one country made it, doesn’t mean the rest will abandon their work. So let me turn it over to you: What do YOU think about Fauci’s comments? Does he have a legitimate concern, or is he just jealous of the Russians? Reply to this newsletter and share your thoughts with us! INVESTING [A Plunge of Pharma Stocks Working on the COVID-19 Vaccine… What Happened?] A Plunge of Pharma Stocks Working on the COVID-19 Vaccine… What Happened? Expanding on the introduction, Russia’s latest announcements about their COVID-19 vaccine development have taken quite the toll on the American stock market. bsp; Specifically, we saw a HUGE 14-20% drop in share value of US-based companies such as Vaxart, Heat Biologics, Sorrento Therapeutics, and Novavax… all of which are actively working to get their own vaccine candidate approved for widespread manufacturing and public use. bsp; Two things to take note of here: Investors couldn’t give a rat’s a** about Fauci’s warning against Russia and his claims about the safety and effectiveness of their vaccine. They’re starting to dump shares out of the fear that the US may be far too behind in the vaccine race. Even if the companies I mentioned do succeed, they just won’t be the home-run winners we once thought they would be. bsp; Yet Moderna appears to be taking on the role of 1st place in the race amongst US-based companies, as they managed to negotiate a $1.5 billion deal with the federal government. t. In short: Several companies in America attempting to manufacture COVID-19 vaccines may be behind Russia, and possibly behind the leading competitor in the United States. DON'T MISS THIS [Mandatory Face Mask Wearing in Public, Outside… AND AT HOME!?] Mandatory Face Mask Wearing in Public, Outside… AND AT HOME!? The face mask wearing brigade has really done it now. They made us wear masks in indoor public spaces, they made us wear them outside, and now they’re forcing us to wear masks when we are in the privacy of our own home. bsp; Think I’m joking around? I really, REALLY wish I was. bsp; The state government of Wisconsin has issued a warning stating that ALL government employees will be required to wear masks during virtual conferences. Even if you are home alone, all by yourself, and isolated from the rest of the world, you have to keep a stupid piece of cloth across your face when your face appears on a webcam. bsp; Naturally, doing this will mean jack sh*t for keeping you safer during the COVID-19 pandemic. So there must be a reason why they’re enforcing this absurd policy…. It serves as a virtual reminder for other people to wear masks by setting the example for others with regard to health and safety, according to the head of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources. Straight-up virtue signaling. bsp; This is about as anti-science as it can get, and that’s coming from somebody who has vigorously poured through the science on the effectiveness of wearing face masks. bsp; If your job forced you to do this while remote working, would you keep working for them or quit? I know what I would do, but I want to hear YOUR thoughts on this bizarrely idiotic story. Let us know how you feel by replying to the newsletter! [Vote Now] PS.
