{NAME}, I recently had a meeting with my finance director and the reality of the situation is a bit alarming. After a fantastic effort from this team in August, grassroots fundraising has slowed down rapidly. That’s bad news, especially just after a quarter where our celebrity GOP opponent outraised us by $1.2 million. At midnight, we will hit our critical midnight fundraising deadline, which will set the tone for our campaign's capacity to get out the vote with less than 65 days until the election. [If you’re ready to give now without having to hear any more, you can chip in a split donation of $25 or more between Equality PAC and my campaign right now.]( Otherwise, keep reading and I’ll tell you why our race is so important. After being outraised last quarter, national Republicans have already committed $6 million to turning out the MAGA vote all across California. Not hitting my midnight goal makes it that much harder to fight back. Even further, this means that competitive down‑ballot House races will have to work that much harder to win their elections, which can determine if we win back control of the House. I refuse to let this happen – but MAGA Republicans are seeing an opening. I need my grassroots team to step up again and let them know California is staying blue this election. So I need to ask: [Can you please split a donation of $25 or more between Equality PAC and my campaign to win my Senate race, flip the House back to Democrats, and give Vice President Harris the majority she needs to govern effectively?]( If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your contribution will go through immediately: [Express Donate: $10 >>]( [Express Donate: $25 >>]( [Express Donate: $50 >>]( [Express Donate: $100 >>]( [Express Donate: $250 >>]( [Donate Any Amount >>]( Our democracy depends on all of us working together on this.
